19th Space Defense Squadron

The 19th Space Defense Squadron (19 SDS) is a United States Space Force unit responsible for monitoring objects outside the geosynchronous Earth orbit (xGEO). As a geographically separated unit of Space Delta 2, it innovates and integrates space domain awareness operations to maintain freedom of action for U.S., allied, and commercial partners. The 19 SDS provides tasking to the Space Surveillance Network (SSN) and enhances the Department of the Navy's satellite vulnerability program.
