Ziyuan-3-04 will operate alongside Ziyuan-3-02, Ziyuan-3-03, and Gaofen-7, and will replace the retired Ziyuan-3-01.
DataCosmos currently provides access to imagery from Spacewill SuperView-1 and SuperView-2 and Gaofen-1, Gaofen-2, Gaofen-3, Gaofen-6, and Gaofen-7.
Ziyuan-3 (03) will be networked with Ziyuan-3 (01), Ziyuan-3 (02), and Gaofen-7 in orbit to provide stable satellite data sources.
The Gaofen-7 optical Earth observation satellite was placed into a 489 by 528-kilometer orbit inclined at 97.5 degrees.
Gaofen-7 is designed to obtain high-resolution optical 3D observation data and high-precision laser altimetry.
Gaofen-7 could be launched into Sun-synchronous orbit before the end of 2018.
