Kleos’ Scouting Mission satellites successfully launched in early November 2020.

The Polar Vigilance Mission is intended to enhance Kleos’ RF geolocation data by covering areas north and south of the Scouting Mission’s 37-degree inclined orbit and by increasing overall coverage time in the equatorial region.

Kleos expected to generate its first revenues in 2021-01-01 while the first satellite cluster was already in orbit.

Kleos plans to launch and operate up to 20 clusters of satellites to create a constellation for global event monitoring.
