LatConnect 60 (LC60), an Australian Earth observation company, is building an AUKUS-aligned Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) satellite constellation. First two satellites, SWIRSAT-1 and SWIRSAT-2, are in final development and targeted for launch by or before the end of Q1 2027, delivering SWIR resolution at 4 meters with VNIR at 1.5 meters. A May 2026 growth investment round (up to about USD 20M) funds the step from the 2-satellite pathfinder pair to an 18-satellite constellation, with a longer-range target of 100 satellites by 2035.
