Tenchijin can issue the access URL for the Water Pipe Freeze Warning Map in as little as eight days.

Tenchijin, a company based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, began providing a "Water Pipe Freeze Warning Map" to municipalities and other organizations on January 30.

The Tenchijin Water Pipe Freeze Warning Map visualizes water-pipe freeze risk at a 250-meter mesh using satellite-derived land surface temperature data and displays freeze risk in three levels based on the number of days below −4°C.

The Water Pipe Freeze Warning Map applies satellite-data and AI-based leak-risk diagnosis technology developed through Tenchijin’s water DX solution "Uchu-Suido-Kyoku" (Space Water Bureau).

Tenchijin (Kabushiki Kaisha Tenchijin) of Chūō-ku, Tokyo, led by Yasuto Sakuraba, began providing a 'Water Pipe Freeze Warning Map' to municipalities on January 30, 2026.

Tenchijin’s Water Pipe Freeze Warning Map enables water utilities and municipalities to communicate regional freeze risk to residents and encourage individual preventive measures to help prevent freeze-related water leaks.

Organizations that have not contracted for Tenchijin’s Uchu-Suido-Kyoku can still use the Water Pipe Freeze Warning Map as a standalone service.

The 2026-02-18 event is organized by the Local Government Infrastructure AX Summit 2026 Executive Committee and operated by Tenchijin Inc.

On November 28, 2025, Tenchijin Co., Ltd. was selected for the J-StarX 'SpaceTech Course' program offered by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

Following its selection, Tenchijin plans to actively expand its water DX service 'KnoWaterleak' and other solutions focused on social infrastructure and the environment into the European market.

Tenchijin announced that the total length of water pipe networks analyzed by its space-based water utility solution 'Space Water Bureau' has reached 109,575 kilometers.

Tenchijin reported that the number of municipalities with cumulative contracts, including renewals, has exceeded 50.
