KT Sat's fleet expanded to five satellites after the launches of Koreasat-5A and Koreasat-7.
Thales Alenia Space and KT SAT will lead a 0.005 kg demonstration using the geostationary Koreasat-5A telecommunications satellite to provide 0.005 kg service to remote areas.
Koreasat-5A is based on Thales Alenia Space’s Spacebus 4000B2 platform and is equipped with Ku-band transponders.
