SpaDeX conducted a first successful docking of its two satellites on 16 January 2025 at 06:20 (local time as reported).
PSLV-C60 launched the twin SpaDeX satellites on 30 December 2024 and injected the satellites at approximately 475 km altitude.
A rolling (rotating) experiment involving circumnavigation of one SpaDeX satellite and return to the same spot was completed in the week of March 21, 2025.
Power transfer between SpaDeX satellites (SDX-01 and SDX-02) was exercised and accomplished on April 21, 2025, with the duration of power transfer being approximately four minutes.
The specially configured PSLV upper stage POEM-4 was circularized by engine restarts to a nearly circular orbit at 350 km altitude with 55.2° inclination after deployment of the SpaDeX satellites.
The second SpaDeX docking was completed with full autonomy from an inter-satellite distance of 15 meters.
