Thales Alenia Space will supply the ground control segment for HTS 113BT and will train and support the Telkomsat engineering team on site.
HTS 113BT is designed to provide more than 32 gigabits per second of capacity over Indonesia using C-band and Ku-band beams.
HTS 113BT will be operated in geostationary orbit by Telkomsat, a subsidiary of Indonesian state-owned telecom operator Telkom.
Telkomsat expects HTS 113BT to strengthen connectivity infrastructure across the Indonesian archipelago to support digital business by providing better quality of service for Indonesian society.
