Jiuquan is the sole launch site for China's crewed space missions, with all Shenzhou flights conducted from this facility.

In 2021 China launched its first space station module, two cargo spacecraft, and two crewed missions.

The struck Shenzhou spacecraft returned to Earth on January 19.

Approximately 20 days elapsed between discovery of the Shenzhou-20 window problem and the safe return plus the successful launch and docking of Shenzhou-22.
