The CE20 engine has operated at a thrust level of 19,000 kg in six successive LVM3 missions including Chandrayaan-2, Chandrayaan-3, and two OneWeb commercial missions.
India’s Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is scheduled to launch 2023-07-14 on a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle 2023-03-03 (LVM-3) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre.
The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft will use the Launch Vehicle Mark-3 developed by ISRO for its launch.
ISRO selected the Chandrayaan-3 prime landing site using high-resolution photographs and data from Chandrayaan-2 orbiter and NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.
The Chandrayaan-3 mission has implemented numerous precautions to prevent glitches that occurred in Chandrayaan-2.
India launched the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on 2023-07-14 using an LVM-3 heavy-lift rocket from Satish Dhawan Space Centre.
