At about 61 minutes and 39 seconds after liftoff on September 14, 2013, separation of SPRINT-A (HISAKI) from the Epsilon-1 vehicle was confirmed.
As of September 15, 2013, JAXA confirmed that HISAKI (SPRINT-A) was injected into the planned orbit with an apogee altitude of 1156.8 kilometers, a perigee altitude of 946.8 kilometers, an inclination of 29.7 degrees, and an orbital period of 106.2 minutes.
Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency launched the first Epsilon Launch Vehicle (Epsilon-1) with the Spectroscopic Planet Observatory for Recognition of Interaction of Atmosphere (SPRINT-A) onboard at 2:00 p.m. on September 14, 2013 Japan Standard Time from the Uchinoura Space Center.
