EOS-01 Mission

PSLV-C49 will launch EOS-01 as the primary satellite along with nine international customer satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota.
On November 4, 2020, ISRO posted that PSLV-C49 carrying EOS-01 and nine international customer satellites was at the First Launch Pad ahead of its launch on November 07, 2020.
ISRO scheduled PSLV-C49 to launch the primary satellite EOS-01 along with nine international customer satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, tentatively at 1502 Hrs IST on November 07, 2020.
EOS-01 is an Earth observation satellite intended for applications in agriculture, forestry and disaster management support.
As of November 7, 2020, RISAT-2BR2 was designated EOS-01 under ISRO's new naming system.
