EROS C3 has a mass of 400 kg and is based on Israel Aerospace Industries’ OPTSAT-3000 bus.
ImageSat International planned to use part of the $100,000,000 it raised from going public to pay some of the remaining costs to build and launch EROS C3.
ImageSat International offers imagery from two other satellites called EROS C1 and EROS C2 that are owned by an unnamed third party and have capabilities similar to EROS C3.
The launch of EROS C3 completed SpaceX’s most active year to date in 2022.
