NASA’s MAVEN orbiter, launched in 2013 to study atmospheric escape, is somewhat larger than Hope and cost about $670,000,000 to build and launch.
All-stellar mode was developed and uplinked to MAVEN on 2022-04-19, five months ahead of the originally planned 2022-10-01 implementation.
