As of November 30, 2016, a Lok Sabha summary listed the PSLV-C37 payload as Cartosat-2D weighing 730 kg, INS-1A and INS-1B totaling 30 kg, and 80 foreign satellites totaling 500 kg for a combined payload mass of 1260 kg.
As of January 11, 2017, an Economic Times report indicated PSLV-C37 was expected to carry 103 satellites of which 100 were foreign and three were Indian, naming Cartosat-2 (730 kg) and INS-1A and INS-1B (total 30 kg).
As of December 15, 2016, the PIB release described INS-1A and INS-1B as nano satellites weighing 10 kg each with payload mass of 5 kg and an expected mission life of six months to one year.
