The launch time of the launch vehicle was determined so that the local time of ascending node (LTAN) of the Ionosfera-M No. 1 satellite orbit after separation would be 08:44, corresponding to a Moscow standard time launch at 02:18:40 applicable to any launch date.
Roscosmos announced the launch of Ionosfera-M satellites No. 1 and No. 2 with 53 Russian and foreign small satellites on November 5, 2024 at 02:18:40 Moscow time.
