Tianqi-14 was developed by the Shanghai Institute of Space Systems Engineering, which is part of the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST) under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
A Long March 2C rocket launched a group of classified Yaogan-30 satellites and the commercial Tianqi-14 satellite from Xichang Satellite Launch Center.
Tianqi-14 was launched on June 18th as a secondary payload atop a Long March 2C from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.
