GSAT-11 is a 5,850-kilogram telecommunications satellite designed to cover the Indian mainland and nearby islands with 32 Ku-band user spot beams.
ISRO’s GSAT-11 launched on an Ariane 5 in December alongside the Korea Aerospace Research Institute’s GEO-Kompsat-2A weather satellite.
GSAT-11 was scheduled to launch on 2018-05-25 as a co-passenger with Azerspace-2/Intelsat-38 on an Ariane 5 mission.
