The STC includes all structural and electrical changes to the aircraft to support the installation of airborne surveillance sensors, multiple communication equipment, and BIRD's operator workstations and pilot display.
The full STC program was conducted by BIRD Aerosystems' platform engineering department and by BIRD's MRO in Cyprus.
The defense system prototype will include a small innovative radar based on BIRD's operationally-proven SPREOS confirmation and tracking radar.
The central black hole of BiRD is estimated to have a mass of approximately 100 million times that of the Sun based on spectral analysis.
